Texas Bloom Eclipse Workshop

Texas Bloom Eclipse Workshop
April 6th - 9th 2024

Are you wondering where you're going to go for the 2024 eclipse?  Does the idea and pressure of not capturing this event to your fullest potential add a little extra burden?

Let me guide you through capturing this event and sprinkle in a few adventure filled days. Welcome to a much different type of workshop than you might be used to seeing.

This year everything is lining up to capture not only peak blooms of Texas's State Flower "Bluebonnets" (aka Smurfs) but also  the TOTAL SOLAR ECLIPSE.  In case the Eclipse isn't a big enough draw to visit Texas this Spring.

Gain a true Texas experience chasing the smurfs and some of the biggest Longhorns you've ever seen. We will have exclusive access to a private ranch that houses over 40 lemurs that run free on the property and their week old babies clinging onto their mothers backs.
This experience is like no other, getting the opportunity to get up close and personal, hand feed and photograph many animals that include:  kangaroos, foxes, skunks, bobcats, raccoons, baby goats, sheep and much much more. Ok, we won't be hand feeding the bobcats but many of these are super friendly and raised by human hands feeding them.
Get up close and personal with all your favorite furry friends.  Bottle feed some baby goats, hand feed lemurs on your shoulders and meet some house tamed foxes, skunks and raccoons.  This is literally what I envision Heaven to look like haha.
Learn the art of how to capture the Total Solar Eclipse in true fashion to get the highest quality data using the gear you have. As a bonus, I will have star trackers set up for students to use as well but please feel free to bring your own if you'd like.
