OREGON COAST PHOTOGRAPHY MASTERCLASS 2

JUNE 11TH - 15TH 2024

In less than 24hrs after releasing our Summer Oregon Coast Photography MasterClass 1,  Michael Shainblum and I sold out ALL spots and generated  a waitlist. Soooo, we decided to release a 2nd MasterClass to cater to the huge demand of the first. We don’t expect this to be open long so be sure to grab your spot ASAP.

Come chase the Milky Way and incredible light along the majestic Oregon Coast and through the enchanted Redwood Forests. This year, we’ve listened to the feedback from you all and decided to extend our workshop. Thus, allowing us to visit more places and go more in depth in our classroom sessions. Our mission is to teach you advanced night photography techniques with not only Blue Hour Composites and Stacking but unlocking your potential to master a single exposure. The 3 photos below are true single exposures (not stacked).
Composition is such a HUGE factor in setting yourself up to take award winning photographs and there is no better place than the Oregon Coast and Redwoods to do JUST that.

Michael Shainblum and I have teamed up for this Masterclass

Michael Shainbum
Michael Shainblum is a photographer, filmmaker, and educator based in San Francisco, California. He has been working professionally as a photographer and filmmaker for 17 years since the age of 16. Commissioned by clients such as: Disney, Nike, Samsung, Apple, and Google. He also shares his knowledge via his Youtube Channel, workshops, and video tutorials.

Meet Instructor Jason Kudlo!

Jason is a fine art and landscape photographer who travels full-time with his wife and two dogs in their Airstream. After nearly 20 years as a software engineer, he was drawn to landscape photography for quite a few reasons. The allure of challenging himself creatively and seeking the rewards from doing so led him down a road of explorations that he otherwise may not have unraveled had it not been for his camera.

Teaching has always been a passion of his. In fact, he was one of the original students in Kenny’s first Oregon Coast workshop over 5 years ago, and continues to invest in his own growth through teaching and participating in workshops every year. He believes that no matter what the student and teacher’s skill level is, everyone has something to learn(and teach). His expertise, patience and knowledge is invaluable to the group and we’re excited to have him instructing for the 2nd year in a row.

Day 1
Our workshop begins at 4:00pm with a meet and greet at our AirBnB. After we go over the agenda and get to know one another, we will grab our gear and head out to explore the incredible coastline of Samuel H. Boardman State Scenic Corridor, taking in all the magical and enchanting views while photographing the sunset, blue hour and Milky Way.
Day 2
Classroom session begins directly after an early lunch. You will learn how to stack stars and edit your Milky Way shots. After class, we will pack our camera gear and adventure out to some of the magnificent rock formations along the coast for some sunset, blue hour and Milky Way fun.
Day 3
After a couple of days exploring the Samuel H. Boardman area, the Redwoods are next on our list! There is nothing better than catching the morning fog rolling through the magnificent giant Redwoods. Another classroom session will follow after a morning of chasing sun rays through the ancient forest. We will have a quick break before heading back out for sunset, blue hour and Milky Way.
Day 4
Our last full day will start with a late morning classroom session.  This classroom session will be dedicated to you editing your favorite images, practicing and implementing the new editing techniques you’ve learned.  I will be walking around & spending time with each student answering questions. Afterwards, we pack up our gear for one last night under the stars together.
Day 5
Wrapping up our amazing week with a working breakfast to go over any final questions about techniques or critiques on your photos.
